Publication: Tunable Ac-DEX Improves Vaccine Response Kinetics
We show that peak immune responses are reached using particles that degrade at different rates by encapsulating vaccine elements, antigen and adjuvant, in particles that degrade at fast, medium, and slow rates and observing their immune responses. https://authors.elsevier.com/a/1WUtKcI2~mAaa
Poster awards for Naihan, Kathryn, and Erica!
The Ainslie Lab almost sweeps the awards for the Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics Research Symposium! Congrats to Naihan, Kathryn, and Erica.
Publication on Ac-DEX Scaffold to prevent GBM
Our latest publication uses nanofibrous acetalated dextran scaffolds to slowly release the chemotherapeutic doxorubicin in the resection cavity made after the surgical removal of glioblastoma. In collaboration with Dr. Shawn Hingtgen. http://pubs.acs.org/d…/pdf/10.1021/acs.molpharmaceut.7b01114
